![]() ![]() As a Halloween Special, Carrion has released a demo that lets you see the first little bit of the game. How can I wait that long?” Well, surprise, nerds. “Swiggity Swooty, I’m gonna eat your booty.” -FleshBeast But you will have to eat a lot of people to solve them. What’s that? You’re some kind of loser who doesn’t like eating people? Well, Carrion does have some cool puzzles, too. “Ah fuck yeah, people are so damn tasty.” -FleshBeast No word yet if the final stage is processed industrial farms for human meat. You then use your capabilities to devour even more flesh, like how man invented rocks so we could suck the delectable flesh from the claws of crabs. Like a Katamari of gore, each pound of flesh (with extra blood) you tithe grows your mass and powers. It’s a game where you get to be a fleshy tentacle monster sliding about devouring people. It has a few stopgaps but overall it’s a really fun little experience.Reverse Horror Game CARRION Gets Sneak Peek Demo On Steam I turned the game on and just went balls to the wall with it, I won’t ever come back but I enjoyed the hell out of it and it’s like nothing I’ve played before. The music is absolutely fantastic and adds a lot to the atmosphere. The human parts are more puzzle than anything but it struggles here as it slows the pace, has small hard to see interactions and clunky controls. At set points, you get to play as a human and explore the carnage you left behind from the monster, I say it all like this as the story is not actually there and you kind of interpret it how you like. As a monster with many mouths and many tentacles, you slide all around the place, you break open containment canisters to get new abilities and grow, this then opens up the game that shows you have not only combat with ever-increasing enemies but you also have puzzle elements. ![]() ![]() ![]() You then get to go around the vents and smash the place up and kill humans! What I can’t describe properly is just how well it plays and fluid you move around. You get to play as a creature that was created? In a lab and break out. Your monster is underpowered early on, at least, so you have to be devious. Doesn’t explain the whole abilities/biomass.Ĭarrion allows you to play the other side of action games. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. The story is more left to your interpretation.
